How to access the DELMIAWorks (formerly IQMS) Remote Desktop

Overview

This guide explains how to access the Remote Desktop environment from a Windows computer based on your local time zone.

Which Remote Desktop Server Do I Use?

• Central Time (CST): 172.24.16.11
• Pacific Time (PST): 172.24.16.12

Requirements

• Windows computer
• Network access to the internal environment (VPN if required)
• Valid Computer / Domain credentials

How to Connect (Windows)

1. Click Start
2. Search for Remote Desktop Connection
3. Open Remote Desktop Connection
4. In the Computer field, enter the IP address for your time zone:
   • CST: 172.24.16.11
   • PST: 172.24.16.12
5. Click Connect

Login Credentials

Log in using your Computer / Domain credentials.

Username formats may include:

• PLASTIKON\firstname.lastname

Security & Certificate Prompts

You may see a warning stating that the identity of the remote computer cannot be verified or that there is a certificate error.

This is expected behavior. Click Yes or Connect anyway to proceed.

Troubleshooting

• Connection fails:
  • Verify you are using the correct IP for your time zone
  • Ensure VPN is connected (if required)
• Invalid credentials:
  • Confirm your username and password
  • Check that CAPS LOCK is not enabled
• Certificate warnings appear repeatedly:
  • This is normal and can be safely accepted
